Classic Clip Monday: Network promos

Remember back when the TV networks had jazzy little theme songs?

This might be the most memorable to me "We're still the one...we're really alive! Still the one, as the Eighties arrive!"

NB Seeeeee Us. Uh, OK?

I liked this one better: NBC, proud as a peacock!

Which ones do you remember?

I think it's really funny that I don't recognize, or remember, any of the new NBC shows advertised on the NB-See-Us ad. Guess they didn't stick.

"Who's Watching the Kids" changed names and became "Charles in Charge," I think.

Remember when each network previewed their new Saturday morning cartoons during prime time. That resulted in endless conversations next day at school.

I loved the Saturday Morning Cartoon previews.

Is the narrator for the third one Casey Kasem? Whoever it is did announcer stuff for cartoons.

I remember all of these... and that's disturbing. I particularly remember ABC's "Still the One" theme because they used it for several seasons, back when they had (what seemed to me to be) all the cool shows, like "Happy Days," "Laverne and Shirley," "Welcome Back Kotter", "The Six Million Dollar Man" and "Charlie's Angels" (just in time for puberty -- yay!!).
